Project Description
The mesh-belt annealing furnace is a common heat-treatment device, characterized by the following features and wide-ranging applications:

Characteristics
Continuous production: By continuously conveying workpieces on a mesh conveyor belt, continuous feeding and discharging of workpieces can be achieved, making it suitable for batch production, enhancing production efficiency, and reducing production costs.
Precise Temperature Control: The furnace is equipped with a temperature control system comprising temperature sensors, a controller, and temperature control instruments. The temperature sensors continuously monitor the temperature in each zone of the furnace, while the controller precisely adjusts the power output of the heating elements based on the preset program and feedback signals, ensuring that the temperature control error is maintained within ±3°C and thereby guaranteeing consistent tempering quality of the workpieces.

Uniform furnace temperature: A large-impeller forced-circulation fan is employed to increase airflow velocity, thereby enhancing heat-transfer efficiency and ensuring more uniform temperature distribution throughout the furnace. In addition, heating elements are evenly distributed along the furnace walls and transfer heat to the workpieces on the mesh belt via radiation, further guaranteeing temperature uniformity.
Excellent conveyor belt performance: The conveyor belt is typically woven from high-temperature-resistant alloy steel wire, offering superior strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature stability. It can support workpieces of a certain weight and operate reliably in high-temperature environments. The belt speed is continuously variable, allowing flexible control over the residence time of workpieces within the furnace based on their size, shape, and tempering process requirements.
Reasonable structural design: The furnace body is typically elongated, with a shell made of steel plate and internal insulation material such as ceramic fiber, which effectively minimizes heat loss. The furnace is divided into heating, insulation, and cooling zones, each with a clearly defined function, thereby facilitating precise tempering processes. Moreover, the electric heating elements can be easily replaced without dismantling the furnace roof or shell, making equipment maintenance and servicing convenient.

Optional atmosphere control: The ventilation system comprises supply and exhaust ports, enabling the introduction of fresh air or protective gas into the furnace. It allows precise control of the flow rate of protective gases such as nitrogen, facilitates the removal of exhaust gases generated during tempering, prevents oxidation of workpieces, and meets the specific atmospheric requirements of various processes.
Application
Steel materials: Used for the tempering treatment of various carbon steels and alloy steels to refine the microstructure, relieve quenching stresses, enhance toughness and ductility, and achieve excellent overall mechanical properties, thereby providing superior material performance for subsequent processing operations.
Nonferrous metals—such as copper, aluminum, magnesium, and their alloys—are also commonly subjected to tempering in mesh-belt furnaces. For instance, aluminum alloy materials can achieve further increases in strength and hardness through tempering, while simultaneously improving their corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
Automotive components: After quenching, critical engine parts such as crankshafts, connecting rods, and piston pins must undergo tempering to relieve quenching stresses, enhance fatigue strength and toughness, extend service life, and ensure the engine’s stability and durability.

Agricultural machinery manufacturing: Gear components, drive shafts, cutting tools, and other parts for tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment, when tempered in a mesh-belt furnace, exhibit enhanced wear resistance, impact resistance, and improved stability under harsh operating conditions.
General mechanical components: various shafts, gears, sprockets, bolts, nuts, and other standard mechanical parts. Through tempering, the balance between hardness and toughness can be optimized, cutting performance can be improved, machining accuracy and surface quality can be enhanced, and the requirements of different operating conditions can be met.
Cutting tools—such as high-speed steel tools and cemented carbide tools—undergo tempering as a critical step in the manufacturing process. Mesh-belt tempering furnaces enable precise control of tempering temperature and time, resulting in optimal hardness, toughness, and wear resistance, thereby extending tool life and enhancing cutting performance.
Molds—such as stamping dies and injection molds—undergo tempering treatment to eliminate internal stresses generated during machining, stabilize the microstructure, improve dimensional accuracy and surface quality, enhance strength and wear resistance, extend service life, and reduce production costs.

Other applications: It can also be used for annealing glass products to eliminate internal stresses generated during the forming process, thereby enhancing the strength and dimensional stability of the glass. In the ceramics industry, it is employed in sintering and tempering processes to improve the hardness, density, and wear resistance of ceramic articles. In the manufacturing of electronic components, it is utilized for high-temperature sintering of thick-film circuits, thick-film resistors, and electrode layers on electronic components, thus improving component reliability and stability.
