Working Principle

Principle of normalizing: Normalizing is a heat-treatment process in which a metal is heated above its critical temperature, held at that temperature for a specified period, and then cooled in still air. This process refines the microstructure of the metal, thereby enhancing its strength, toughness, hardness, and other mechanical properties, while also refining the grain size and relieving internal stresses. In a waste-heat normalizing production line, the residual heat from the wheel hubs is utilized in combination with appropriate heating and holding measures to bring the hubs to the temperature and hold-time conditions required for normalizing, thus achieving the desired heat treatment.

Components

Material-feeding mechanism: Responsible for conveying wheel hub units—after forging or other hot-working processes—into the residual-heat normalizing production line.
